Antoine van de Ven studeerde aan de Universiteit Utrecht af als Master of Science in de Natuurkunde en Sterrenkunde. Daarnaast heeft hij bij diverse organisaties en bedrijven gewerkt en veel ervaring opgedaan als onder andere Software Engineer, Projectleider, Onderzoeker en Technisch Directeur. Omdat hij meer onderzoek wilde doen en vanwege zijn interesse in het onderwerp doet hij nu promotieonderzoek op het gebied van "Curiosity-Driven Interaction' bij Fontys Hogeschool ICT.
